Hi! I'm Talia.

Your photos are not only guaranteed to give you memories that will last forever but also to capture your individuality. My photography approach involves capturing those moments that show who you are.

Thanks for checking out my work!

Let's get started! I'm a freelance video-photographer serving Northern California. I love my job! However, most would say I love my clients more. One of the reasons I love being a lifestyle photojournalist so much is because I get to meet interesting people and capture your stories.

I love capturing your story! Since before I can remember I dreamed of being a writer-photojournalist. Nine years ago, during a photojournalism course in college, I truly found my love for photography. I finished up my bachelor's degree in public relations and broadcast journalism, where I also studied the art of advertising, photography and videography. I began working as an editor for a local health and wellness magazine, a web photographer and developer for a high-end  jewelry shop in Truckee and then photographing for PR events in the area. I have always had a curious mind and a love for constant learning which led me to my full time career as a teacher. Currently, I am working as a full time substitute teacher and Graduate Student at William Jessup University, working towards my Masters in Education and Credentials.

In Summer 2010 I had the opportunity to attend a study abroad course in Europe for photojournalism. It was an experience I had dreamed of since childhood. During this course I learned so much! From the art of photography to the fine details of managing a photography business. These skills I've been able to directly apply to my business and for my clients.

Photography is my second passion next to my family. I love spending time with them! My husband is truly my biggest fan and supporter. We have three beautiful, smart and happy children who bring fulfillment and joy to our lives daily. We own the saying, "We may not have it all together, but together we have it all!". Every day is chaotic (organized chaos of course) in it's own marvelous way and I love it!

I also enjoy hiking, camping, coaching soccer, quading, traveling, snowboarding and generally enjoying the outdoors. Oh! I can't forget... Go Niners! To my husbands dismay football season means I own the television on game day.

I love what I do and it shows in my work!

Special thank you to Cassie Mae Photography©
